I will hopefully get some better quality video and sound in a few days. And the next test will be on the 30th of june i hope. If they let me drive the car with the noise it makes now :P
Im talking with Coast Fabrication in LA about getting a new muffler made specially for me But we will see, im going to try a insert into the exhaust to get the noise lvl's down.
But it's more quiet on full throttle then standstill reving

it's so cool to drive, once it clears 4000 rpm it just shoots off. next time i will let it loose all the way to 4th gear i hope depending on how fast i can get out of the last corner before the long straight

No it's quite hard to drive on the street, it gets grumpy quite fast. Will sour the plugs is feels like. And the car will backfire and jerk untill you have cleard out the plugs again. And you need to keep it above 5000 rpm.
Might be abit better, when i have done some more tuning of the lower range of the TPS % but i doubt it will be any better. Once the car is quite warm, and the engine get to rev all the way up it is alot better in lower rpms and low load as well. but then you will need to run it hard all the time. and the engine life will be short if you drive it alot on the street.

When warming up on B6ES plugs i have about 1600 rpm idle and once it's fairly warm it goes to 1700 and stays there. On the NGK 11 iridium plugs it idles at about 1100 rpm warming up, and at 2000 rpm once above 75 degrece and at 1700rpm once it's realy warm and after a track session.
It gets realy fast grumpy on the cold plugs when just ideling. So they are not recomended for anything else then racing with. I should warm up the car with the warm plugs. But that just takes to long, and changing plugs is a pain now.

Here is a short HD clip from my test run of the car on sunday. I had to take it slow as it was the first time trying it. And it was so slippery due to all the rubber from the drifting event that had gone on there that weekend. I could hardly break without the front tiers locking, or when trying to accelerate in 2nd the rear wheels would just slip. But you get a good sound

I didn't read every post on this thread, but it looked as though you are running coolant through the block in a stock configuration. Any idea how much heat soak is going on with having to cool twice the engine? Was there ever any consideration of cooling from the center or some other way to more evenly cool the engine? i would imagine the rear rotor is considerably hotter in a 4 rotor configuration, or not such a concern on an N/A engine?

I also am curious to see the performance potential from this. You would have a better and more evenly cooled engine.

I actually have a -12 coolant line going in to the midplate to give the engine some more added coolant. If u study this pic abit closer you will see it.
You can see it between the coils and the block, and goes into the center casting.

hmmmm in a desperate move to get the exhaust abit more quiet i have gone to drastic mesures. I have just orderd a 4" catalytic converter.
We messured the sound yesterday and it was loud. Now as i had it on jack stands inside the noise lvl's are abit too high. But we messured a max of 118db, and deducting the noise the echo makes i would say it should be bellow 110db now. So the hope is to get it down to about 101-102db with the cat in the system. And then replace the midpipe with a longer oval one to get it below 100db
Let's see if it works or not.
