for all the doubters

there was some post back about the
13B 3/4 chassis record being set in Puerto Rico
and alot of you thought they was not done in NHRA legal form aka
wieght

well quess who? was kicking *** this weekend in English town?

the same starlets/mazdas

7.4@180 in a NHRA event boooooooooooooooo ya

damm look at that nice and clean
not no funny car looking body like Paul and Justin have in modified
it actually still has all the stock body lines

its also over 150 pounds over wieght for the class

Big Props to all the mazda that where kicking ***! this past weekend

Dee.K ran awesome
so did Mike Lowe in a Automatic tranny! WOW

They don't come much cleaner than this. I love the decal on the driver's side window. "100% legal NHRA Sport Compact & you?" Jorge Lazcano has been driving fast cars for a long time. He started with his old 300ZX and hasn't looked back. If he's 150 lbs over the weight limit imagine what he'll do at the limit.

So is this engine NA or turbo? I don't understand the different classes and rules.

I think with that ET it would have to be a turbo 13b.

Wow, you really have to give them their props. I was at the event and that car just got faster and faster. I hear its running a Sakura fuel only computer. That is one clean looking 1st gen!

I can't wait to see the modified class run in atco in 2 weeks and then we have the Pan Americans!! It's nice living on the east coast. I hear they left the car in the US for the next few events, I wonder where?

So is it just backhalfed? I take it thats what you mean by 3/4 chassis. But 7.40's are damn fast for any production vehicle. Nice to see rotaries are still tough competition.
