85 gsl with 78 street ported 4port

okay here is what i have done..............

my 85 gsl came with a 78' 4-port thats street ported...
with an old header and mild exhaust

1st problem is that my car is a automatic .. but i just purchased a wrecked 83 wiht all the parts i need for a auto to 5 speed swap....

heres things on my to do list:

i have a 600cfm holley i have ready to go on which i was gonna acompany with a open air filter bla blah blah

after that i was told that i need at least need a fuel pump delivering at least 6 psi....

after that i was wondering what would be a good next step towards kickin the *** of my friends 94 firebird!

The next step woud be to disconnect the trailing spark plugs. Cus thats about all youll need to beat one of those POS.

riiiiiiiiiight.......

anyway, moving back to REALITY... does your '85 still have A/C or P/S? I want to put my '80 engine in my '85 and I'm curious as to if i can retain my A/C and P/S, or if I'm going to have to assemble the engine using an '85 front side housing and front cover.

I have never heard of disconnecting your Trailing spark plug wires to make power. Can you tell me where the power gain could be at?
Kinnda not making sense to me.

I was jsut joking there buddy. Heeheheh.

Back to his question though. If you want a good fuel pump, get a holley red pump. They work really well. I use a blue which is 110 gph. the red is 90gph. The blue however like to climb in pressure to 14 psi cus thats what its rated at and its kinda hard to regulate them down, mabe my reg. is junk ???

'78 13B? That's pretty cool. I've got plans for an automatic '76 13B to manual myself. Pre RX-7 13Bs are where it's at.
