Stephen Papadakis ran 8.11@180mph at the IDRC event last weekend in Texas!
FWD in the 7's soon!!

Wholly ****!!! I can honestly say that I never thought his car would get this far. Big props go out to Papadakis for shutting up the naysayers (including me).

ditto never thought he would make it this far. I was at joliet at the battle of the imports a couple years ago when he made his record setting run of 9.21 and I thought that real high 8s was as far as he would go.

This is on his NEW Civic right? Not the older hatchback car?

I wonder how much nitrous he's using? Anyone have specs on his car(s)?

He's not on the go go juice but he's using Alcohol fuel with a hole lot of boost!

If I remember from the article that I read in super street(?), it's a t88. The engine is mounted north south to fit the turbo. It's 650 hp and something in the neighborhood of 1600 lbs. Very cool **** on that car

WOW! Very Very Impressive i never thought that the car would make it under mid 8's....but yea i guess if every race car team had unlimited budget his time wouldnt be soo impressive...
