efantis doesn't trap 210, he only traps around 190. he's not in pro rwd, he's in modified the class below pro rwd. rotaries haven't been competitive for the past 3 years. the only reason ari, abel, and adam won anything before then was that they had no competition. abel was the first guy w/ a tube frame sport compact so of course he's gonna win, ari just beat up on local street cars at every race, and adam raced when everybody else was running fwd hondas. i doubt anyone's even going to build a 4 rotor so this argument is moot.

Again, it all comes down to what class they allow the 4 rotors to run in. If they classify them in with AEM, Bullish, Titan etc they are finished. Those guys are trapping over 210+mph.

IMHO 1/4 mile ET is more important than your trap speed .... if you are running 8's @ 165 and someone else is running 8's @ 210 , the other car obviously has more torque/hp but the other car has the same exact time in the 1/4 mile, so trap speed really isnt important if your both running the same et.. what is important is your reaction time and your 60ft and 1/8 time, just my 2cents
Edit - I saw a video of the titan supra getting beat in the 1/4mile by the buschur racing eclipse gsx (92 model) , so trap speed isnt **** if your gettng pulled on from the start

He wants consistant 6.4's with 15-1600 reliable horsepower according to his interview. Is that competitive enough for you ragerace? He said he was IDRC and NDRA ? champion and still holds records I believe.
Mabye I should just leave the forum for giving rotories to much credit for there success in racing.

what he wants and what he does are 2 totally separate things. i wish abel all the luck, but at this point no one has done less with more than he has. hopefully he goes out next year and disproves that.

Hes from Alaska and needed some help building his drag/street car. He is also supposed to be flying in here to pick up his car in April.
