3mm vs. ecu

Im rebuilding my engine and adding some things to make it a more reliable racer/ daily driver. THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER. but I drag race every weekend from may till october. What part would make a more reliable daily driver/racer, 3mm apex seals, or a haltech standalone.

and remember, I'm not going for huge power with high boost, I would just like to know what would make a more reliable engine. I'm only going to run 10psi and I'll have 720cc secondaries(or larger perhaps) an fd fuel pump, and an upgraded ROM chip for my FCON

what car/motor/ecu is in it now? 3mm seals arent worth it, theyll hurt power, and most of them are weaker than stock mazda seals anyway. i just got a set of new mazda 2mm seals today, look very good. they moved the joint further towards the little piece, less than a milimeter of it touches the housing.

This is for my 87 t2. Ive decided not to go with 3mm seals. BUT, I would still ike to know what everybody's thoughts on this are. My thoughts are that if kept at low boost and timing with enough fuel for 10psi. Then they would last alot longer.

only get a haltech if you have somebody to tune it or else it will definetly hurt your reliability

I agree. If you just buy an EMS and attempt to tune it yourself, you will most likely hurt your engine.
