Smile 13b/re/rew diffrences/performance and identification

I finally got a FD!! (roller). Now trying to find the right motor. 13b tt, 13b re, or 13b rew? I am pretty sure the rew is the best bet. (I want a 2 rotor) I'm looking for the best, modable, JDM motor/setup that will work (I also will need the wiring harness and computer). I was also wondering what to look for, to be sure it is a rew. I know the re is easy to pick out with the intake, etc.
Looking for differences & facts.

Also wondering (from experience) where to get a good motor, - or where NOT to get 1!

Thanks alot!

Sorry to see the vert go, especially since I got it out of a scrap yard (salvage) and did ALL of the work myself! But I always dreamed of having a FD, (found a great deal too) so lets see what I can do with one of these!!!

we just had 2 of these re/rew threads in the last couple of weeks.

short answer for you is to just stay with the rew. it's easier for you.

Yeah only the REW will mount up with the stock mounts, the RET and Cosmo RETT won't fit correctly without modifications to the engine mounting. There's plenty of REWs floating around on ebay etc.

Cool thanks guys. But how do you know if it is a REW or just a regular 13b? I don't mind modifying anything, actually I like to! Especially if it will be a better motor / setup. I been looking for info all over (especially here) and I didn't see the other threads, there is alot of info here though. -Thanks!
