carb identification

Where is the identification number on the Stock Nikki carb? i really need this so i can get a rebuild kit..Thanks

I don't think I've ever seen an identification number on the Nikki, but wherever you get the rebuild kit should be able to find it based on the fact that it's a 4-barreled Nikki for a rotary engine.

Or you can get it from a place that *knows* these cars. Like www.mazdatrix.com . Their rebuild kits are more comprehensive than the crap you'll get at local stores.

Autozone, or Victoria British will have a kit for you. You dont need the ident crap. They say they need it but the kit is the same for all the Nikkis on our cars.
