undefeated out of 2 races lol. One was a newer cougar and the other an acura legend. both were riced out and got their asses handed to them by the auto WRX wagon.

I remember looking over (or up) at the huge tall 40 year old heap of junk with bog work all over it (it had custom plates "patch"). These things have like 40 HP on a good day. 2 lanes went into one just after the lights so I didn't have much room. When the light went green I put my foot down too much in the wet and the back slid towards the gutter. I took my foot off and gave it another try with the same result (i believe that's the definition of madness, trying the same thing expecting a different result). In contrast the kombo van had 4wd tyres and got the power to the ground and did a perfect takeoff. I pulled in behind it and saw a 3.8 litre v6 badge so looks like it had had a conversion. Made me feel a little better at least. :-)

lol, I have an excuse, I have a s4 GXL no rebuilds and a dying tranny, you on the other hand should be toasting other people :P Not that I really raced a minivan, but I'm pretty sure it could probably beat me.

I have actually never lost a race with any of my cars in the 4 years that I have been driving. Of course, I have a 500+ whp DSM, and had a heads/cam/nitrous LS1 as my main cars. I raced a ferrari F355 spider earlier this year in my somewhat stock LS1 Z28 and pulled him about a car length, that was probably the closest race. Of course, that was when the car was mostly stock against a ferrari, lol.
