Was on a trip to Dallas and passing a gas station in Cleburne an old beat up red CRX with two teens in it turns out of it and starts driving along next to me.. Well they started doing the whole rev up, slow down, rev up, slow down thing... and everytime he would rev up I heard the whoooosh of a huge blow off valve going off.

So I drop into second while he was revved up in front of me, and for about 2 blocks he lost about 4 car lengths behind me. Hit a red light and stopped, he stopped in the lane over a few cars up and started talking with a woman on the back of a motorcycle.

She was laughing and looked back at me and turned around and nodded at the kid in the car.. Couldn't hear what they were saying but I imagined the kid was talking ****.

So at the next light, the CRX had turned off and I was parked next to the motorcycle, I leaned out and asked,"Was that kid talkin ****?"

She leans over and says,"That kid is my son."

Eh, small town I guess.

 

That kinda funny. I had a similar experience.

Why driving to Dallas?

 

Friend of mine was born on April 1st. We drove up from Houston to surprise him.. Funny thing is, that he was the one that taught me my first baby steps of knowledge into car mechanics, namely piston FWD. When I showed up in my forced induction rotary, he couldn't believe it.
