TII kills a 240SX with sr20det

so its friday night and i get a call and my friend tells me he just saw a skyline. so i obviously go out to look for it! as i'm criusing i see my buddy in his s13, he flashes me and we decide to go have a few runs. by the way this kid has been **** talking on my car since i bought it. we get onto the highway and i sand bag him a little and let him look like an idiot while i cruise at like 80. we get to the road were tons of races go down and we line up. i'm getting ready and then he jumps out of his car and fiddles with his boost controller, i ask him whats up and he's like "i got to turn it down cause i was boosting to much on the highway" so i'm like lets do this and he gets in his car and his buddy flags and we take off. i take him off the line even with my shitty drifting tires. i get a into second and just pull away. he comes up and is like i missed second, so i'm like lets go again. he jumps out and says he's still boosting to much and turns it down. we line up and i come off the line sideways as my tires have zero tread. car finally hooks up and i pull on him by like a car until we get into third and i steadily just gain distance. we get done and he's like i missed third. i tell him that i stomped his *** twice and he's like ok and i go home. sunday at the autocross i here from word of mouth that when he raced me he turned his boost up to like 18 pounds and completely fried his turbo!
my car: 87 turbo II 3, full three inch exhaust, s5 turbo at 8 pounds of boost, 3 inch tid, stripped to the max, no emissions and a couple of other things.
his car: 89 240sx with sr20, 3 inch exaust, intake, FMIC, headers, MBC, and some other things.
