So I was on my way to work pulled up to a 05 350z with full exhaust. and probally some type of intake. Assuming since the exhaust was high performance. think it was apexi n1, and figured intake b/c a cheap mod. but anywho. So back to the light. It turned green both took off normal. So started to think this bussines rich guy was to cool. so then stared him down for a couple of seconds then we both gave sign took off at about 40. i was at 4k pulled ahead about 3/4 car lengths then he was creeping up got about a bumpers length from my front bumper. Shifted at 7k in fourth now and left him after that about 2 car lengths. got to 110 a let off. Then the idiot goes zooming past me like he won when i was down to like 65 from 110. Well i was excited exspecially b/c he gave some look at the light like he would wast me. And didnt even try to race untile i keept on provoking him. Thought i was going to loose but didnt was feeling better about my n/a. Turbo some day but for now n/a will do exspecially with kills like this.

You know what ever. dont really care what you think or who ever else pulls the b/s card. All i know is i beat him and thats what matters. trust me. and its aggressive street port. z's are heavy and with exhaust and intake should only be about 30 more h/p for him.

Sure hope it wasn't a very populated road, just sounds a little dumb to me but I guess I shouldn't be talking to much because I raced a CBR 600 on 40mph street from 40-100, it was a sunday with no cars around though, I would never do that again but either way nice kill.

 

thx. ya i was really early 6 am. and i dont race much only 3 times in 2 years. killed an rx-8 with exhaust. some japanes guy driven. he came up next to me at the next light and said fast rx-7 buddy i have 2 like that.

I could never hang with a 350z in my highly modded SE! Your car maybe has 165hp maybe 175hp at the most and weighs about 2700lbs without you in it. Let see a 350z has like 250hp stock and weighs like 3300lbs. And you said it was modded. Not to mention the torque of those Z's compared to yours.

its so funny every one thinks the same. O well i know what happend and so did the stuck up rich guy. and my car is not stock jetblack so 16's wouldnt be me. the only camra i have is on my phone wich can do 3 min but cant drive and film at same time. You know what good idea i will go to the beach pier 60 tons of cars and z's will find one to race and film it. just give me soom time to do it. have to work next four nights. well here at 6 am aint to many cars out, not till like 7:30.

 

not to menchin torque wouldnt matter much when we where in a 35-40 mph roll.

 

total b.s. i have a 88 turbo 2 with a muffler and a filter and got next to a Z that was complete stock from a second gear roll he still beat me by about 3/4 car lengths and no offense but i know i would own a n/a rx7 mods or not they are just not that fast

 

You know whats funny. About 3 months ago i came across a 10th ave tII rebulit for 3,000. Wish i had the money but the guy let me take it for a ride anyways,b/c never drove a turbo. well anywyas it had exhaust and an intake and i swear to GOD my car was faster. it blew my mind i was almost positive his would be faster. well to make sure i was right and not hallucinating i talked him into racing me and i beat him. After that he said now lets race with my car i drive. sleeper 87 tII 500+ h/p high 10's. i laughed and siad ya right. I was kind of skeptical bout his car (every one bs's around here.) he senced it took me back to his house and we went for a test drive. But he drove. sigh. Let me tell you what now that was a fast *** car. He shifted at 10k dont know if the tach was set high or he has very special work done. But we hit 85 in second and I was slamed against the set couldnt move.

There is a 92 Rx-7, not in America however. I've no idea why he'd put those rotors in an N/A unless he's planning turbo.
