Threesome of a race...

I just got done doing some errands, and I reach a stoplight (3 lanes). What is cool is that some guy in a Scion TC and another guy in a RSX just look at each other and start revving their engines. The guy in the RSX had like some cocky look on his face thinking he is going to take everyone off the line. Light turns green, and I am off I easily pull away a car length or two from both the RSX and the TC, the lanes turn into 2 so the TC and the RSX were battling it out from what I was watching in my rear view mirror. What really gets me is that the TC is more powerful than I thought, but was still no match for my RX-7. I killed two birds with one stone.

nice kills...the TC was probably the supercharged version with 200hp.

The TC is starting to form a strong aftermarket.

There is a Supercharged TC? I guess I really underestimated that car.

I thought I heard a BOV on one by my work the other day, but I dismissed it as being my imagination. I starting to think there's a turbo set up for them now.

I could be wrong.

They already built a TC with a turbo that was making 533hp. Lotta cash though, cause I think stock it made like low 100s. I don't remember all the specs but I'm sure they did alot and I think they were boosting pretty high too. It was in about 3 different magazines a couple months ago. It's blue with Nitto accross the side.

Is that your car in the avatar? If so that's a really nice FC. My brother has a white one just like that so I know how good they can look.

WTF??

Where the hell did you get those HP #s???

Cobalt SS is 205/200

Red Line is 205/200 as well.

Why? They're the same 2.0L Ecotec supercharged 4-banger.

For reference, Tc is 160/163

thanx railgun your right on the money, and i think the tc will be alot better than the cobalt and the red line once trd releases the supercharger, i guessing it will push the 2.4l 4 banger to around 240 to 250 hp is what ive heard

Just on the side, Ion's and Cobalt's make me sick. Typical American high HP cars... I doubt they couldn't keep up with an FC when it comes to cornering ability though =P

They have turbo kits for all the scions now. Have you guys seen the lime green scion tc in the ss mags it had like a 42 inch plasma in the back, full body kit, garret turbo. It looked really sharp. But turbo kits are out there

Yes, the 5Axis tC. It was definately wild. I would like to have some wheels like it had on my FC with some wider fenders and a lower stance. That would be so sexy.
