Got another kill, but it ended horribly...
So two nights ago I'm cruising around when I spot a blue WRX wagon ('02 ish) up ahead. It appeared to be completely stock, but upon further inspection I noticed a younger guy driving (early to mid 20's). He looks over at me and nods in approval, as do I. I get into the left turn lane, to turn left onto 190, and he hops in behind me. I make the turn and he follows me for a ways. He then gets to my right and paces me for a moment. At this time my radar beeps in Ka Band signals and I see a cop going the opposite direction of us. I figured, "Probably didn't even notice us". The guy in the WRX looks over at me and kinda signals for us to go, so when I get to 45mph in 5th, I rev to match speed and slip it into 2nd as he downshifts as well. As soon as I notice him step on it, I do as well. I pulled 1-1 1/2 cars on him by the top of 2nd and hit 3rd until I reach 80mph. I shut down because we ARE in a 45mph zone, and he was about 2 cars back. Then, out of nowhere I see blue and reds. I'm thinking, "Oh ****! I'm screwed." But then he ducks behind the WRX and starts flashing him to pull over. I really felt bad for the guy because I kinda deserved the same. I'm gonna go ahead and stop this while I can because I can't afford a ticket. So, unless its a race I just CAN'T pass up, you aren't going to hear any more kill stories from me for a while.

The last guy that mashed the throttle before I could catch up got a free ride in my cruiser after waiting down the block from his residence. Might not catch by sheer speed but I do remember license plate numbers. With me anyway if you stop and take your lumps I tend to write the tags lower than caught or even a warning but if you run its not only the speed but felony evasion. Simply put if I dont have to radio out no one really knows but us however if other officers hear the traffic call and I write it lower after the fact we both get into deep ****.
Just be careful and whatever you do please don't race a squad car, the radio is much faster!

same thing happened to me i miscalculated and didnt pay all my fine by 30 bucks and there was a bench warrant issued for me
i got speeding and got hauled in
the cop was really nice though dropped the speeding ticket and was cool about the whole thing as i understand it by talkign to tyhe cop on the way in there are 2 types of warrants
one is a bench warrant where they dont actively look or search for you but if you get pulled over it shows up and they haul you in
the other is the one where they actively look and search for you ( forget the name on that one ) and if you have this one you are screwed cuz thats the really bad one

Anytime you have a warrent for your arrest no matter what the officer can take you in. Sometimes however if its say a petty and you're in another county the arresting county might not extradite and let you go because you're going to cost them alot of money. Actually there are several "sub" warrents such as contact warrents, nitecap bench and body only. I wont bore you with all the details but a warrent is an authorization of the courts to allow the officer to take you in and held until seen by a judge.
