Driving in vancouver, just filled up with some 94 for 1.10 a litre (ugh) As i'm driving down the street, i am stopped at a stop sign and i see the lights of a silver WRX pull up next to me, low and behold had 1 guy driving and 2 chics in the car... i look over and see them lookin at me, i look back at the road, and then back at them... i smiled and waved back.... I dont think the guy driving was very happy about this.. haha!

As the light turned green, he punched it, bogging off the line and me not knowing what was going on i stepped into the gas as he got further ahead of my front quater panel i slammed it to the floor hitting a whopping 7 psi with a blown turbo. And within a second, had a half a car and put it into the 3rd until i hit about 6500 RPM i was at least a car and a half ahead... pulling away hard.. needless to say the driver didn't come up beside my car again, and then turned off a few blocks down.... put a grin on my face... wonder what the girls were thinking... Lol

A regular WRX is a slug unless it gets a good shot out of the hole

I beat a regular WRX and, like you, the WRX had a shitty launch........they tend to kill our cars off the line if they launch right. good kill.

be carefull though. most wrx owners arent ricers or punk kids. some have 300 whp and can eat some cars and motorbikes alive. be warned. once they get the ecu reflashed, the speed limit and the boost/speed limit is removed. so if you can take one after 120, thats good. but if he has that, he will walk you up to 160 and then call it a day

 

I got destroyed by about 5 carlengths by a WRX with chip, exhaust and intake back when the WRX was NEW......he claimed 300HP.........the funny part is that everyone was talking **** and someone even had the ***** to say: "I'm going to video Tape it to embarass you." in the end they couldn't keep up with us and the tape shows us lining up and then just tail lights......oh and my flames at every shift.
