PA Single FD vs 370Z

Just a fun Cruise with my brother in-law and buddy's 93 cobra and we found this car to play with, wasn't much of a race and he knew it so he didn't bother to line up side by side hahaha

Congrats! You tried to race a 370Z in traffic and almost hit another car. If you crashed your car would it be worth it just to play with a 370Z? Maybe he didn't want to line up because your both surrounded by traffic.........******* noobs.

lol chillax guys, we all done some whacky moves on the highway. It wasnt really traffic, but he did have a blind spot where you're lucky there was no car in that far right lane.

Still cool race though but its just as expected to see. Of course a single FD will beat a stock 370z but put a couple of bolt ons on that Z and you will get a better race.

Sounds good either way.

OMG You're so stewpit for that!!!

Seriously though. Like 1QWIK7 said. We've all done that, and I trust that if you say you knew you had room, you did. Nifty video.

all i'm saying is enjoy what people post up, if you don't like it don't criticize. People like them steer away members, this is a place for people to share things that they enjoy no matter how funny, nice or stupid it might be. Enjoy it don't be a D!ck about it that's all.

And yeah i saw that there was more then enough space for me on that third lane before even trying it, i know the place well that's why i made that move.

if by bolt ons you mean a turbo then yeah, dont see bpu's doing anything to help this outcome.

Uhh no i mean bolt ons.

The 3.7 engine is an amazing engine.

I didnt say the Z would destroy the FD, i said it would give him a better race, possibly sticking with him.

Just an FYI, BOLT ON 370z's can net up to 325rwhp. You dont know how much rwhp the FD had nor the condition of it at the given time, etc etc. A bolt on 370z will def give a better race than a stock one, for obvious reasons.

Like I said I am an advocate of street racing, but to a point. Racing in traffic is careless, asinine, and dangerous.

uhmn who called you stupid?

plenty of room eh??? lets play the tape... Keep in mind that you did all this in 4 seconds....

at 0:25 when the so called having fun begins the Z is right next to a car that is signaling to change lanes/exit... and you both punch it

at 0:26 a SECOND later you start merging into the right lane as the driver is exiting: which is extremely smart. Occupying a lane with two vehicles on it at the same time...

At 0:27 you are midway into the lane and the car whose lane you invaded is still exiting (you can see the the lights light up the road)... Too ******* close...

tell us what if that driver decided not to take that exit or merge at the last minute? WTF would you do then? you have no where to go: The Z on the left and that other car on the right... BONEHEAD move. Why is that? because you are gambling on what other drivers are going to do in a split second.

oh but you aren't done yet...

0:28 The lane you just invaded has a van on it which happens to be traveling at much lower speed than you. Hey no problem you'll just switch lanes again...

0:29 you merge again. Nevermind if the van decides to switch lanes without signaling you got time to recover right? Wrong look at how ******* close you came to that van... So what if the van started to merge on you? Tell us Mr Andretti

Again that was a BONEHEAD move. Not only did you endanger the other drivers but also your friend who was filming. Congratulations you are awsome.

thanks for your concern montego, l but i was talking more about FelixIsGod29X calling people name when he doesn't even know me. Trust me i'm very careful, and since you narrated the video so well and don't even know the road so i'll take this chance to correct you.

@25sec we both bunch it, as the car merge into the middle lane
@26sec that vehicle was in the 3rd lane when i merge over and there was a car in front of me
@27sec i cut over to the 3rd lane which is about 1/2mile long exit which i know very well, and by this time the first car that switch lane is about 3 car length behind me
@28sec i passed all the car and merging back into the middle lane, which by the way isn't at the end or near the end of the exit lane. Despite what you might have seen in the video myself and my brother in-law who video it knows very well that there was a lot of room.

But all in all thanks for your concern and yes we all need to be careful.

And again FelixIsGod29X people like you should keep the $#!% talking and name calling to yourself.

I understand what you are saying but it really doesn't matter. These little runs are fairly unsafe as it is; doing runs around others and merging into their lanes makes us all look bad. You say you know the roads well but thats really no excuse. I'm sure lots of people who got into accidents knew the roads as well.

knowing the road in this case certainly helps.. however.. you cant say the same for knowing the other drivers on the road..
using an offramp to pass is just plain reckless.. and moreso when doin so at speed to prove something..

even at 350 whp, where a very weak single turbo FD should be at, the FD would still walk that 370 if all else is equal. that extra 450lbs (370z tips in at about 3250) is gonna kill the 370 in a race.

nice kill OP, just remember to play it safe and enjoy having nice enough weather to drive your FD around.

Wait so its definite the FD in the video has 400rwhp??

Not much of a race if a bolt on 370Z raced the FD??

But a stock 370z is a fair race??? LMAO

Like i said, find a modded 370z and it will be a different race. FD def wont walk it.

well it has a t51r for starters and please show me where I said a stock one would be a good race??? he he he "LMAO"

Yeah if you are being completely literal then yeah bolt ons will change the race but by the way you said it made it sound like it would make it a good race but it's still gonna be an *** whooping to the point it wouldnt considered a race by me.

Turbo doesnt mean anything if you're boosting like 10psi, out of the efficiency range. Hell the owner could have had a boost leak that night, you nor I dont know.

You implied a stock one would be a good race because THIS VIDEO is about a stock 370z vs a single FD. Then i said a bolt on Z would have a better shot and even posted a dyno video of a bolt on Z making 325rwhp and you said a car that weights x amount more and has 75rwhp wouldnt be much of a race.

Then i said a stock Z would?? Meaning you're surprised to see a single FD beat a STOCK Z?? LOLOL

Get it now?

Yeah if you are being completely literal then yeah bolt ons will change the race but by the way you said it made it sound like it would make it a good race but it's still gonna be an *** whooping to the point it wouldnt considered a race by me.

The video in original post was hardly an *** whooping. Please. An *** whooping is, that at the end of the run, all you see are 2 shiny dots indicating the Zs' headlights being FAR away. Thats an *** whooping.

This FD just beat it. Thats all. There was no *** whoop.

A bolt on Z would have a better chance and if you dont think so, comparing to a stock Z lol, something is wrong with your brain.

hahaha thanks everyone for the concern and yes i should have been more careful and not to make us RX7 owners look like a ricer hahaha, So this won't happened again in traffic ok.

And by the way yeah it wasn't much of a race, maybe a 370z with bolt ons will, but the reason why you still see the 370z's lights are simply bcuz i let go of the gas just right after passing him hahaha

380whp, 14psi@6k rpm on a bad clutch. Getting new clutch and retune soon shooting for 500whp with water/meth

Thanks for clearing some stuff up.

Yes a bolt on 370Z would be a better race. Which is what i was arguing the whole time.

I guess people just get excited that an FD beat a modern day car. Just so happens your FD was 100rwhp more than its opponent
