Didn't the RX-8 run a better track time than the 350Z on TopGear? That's the only insult i have for the Z. Besides that, when i watch video's of modded Z's they sure do have *****.

 

I find my 300zx AE to be laggy and slow...then again it's stock, but turns more heads than the rx7, at least in a good way haha

 

so much discussion from a little video and a couple of posts to get the fire going. After reading the mindless 3 pages of this stuff I gathered:

370z's suck primarily for the reason that you can't see out of them. Also they sound like ****.

 

ive owned fd's and fc's before, and i prefer the TII but thats just my opinion

 

FD > FC in handling, power output, wider powerband, looks, power:weight

stock of course.

However, modified versus modified is an entirely different game due to having to consider what each vehicle is being built for. Then it comes down to the builder as to which car is better.

True. I think in stock form the FC chassis handles more torque to.

IMO though, FD > FC.

In the car world, the FD is pure automotive sex. The FC is its ugly cousin.

So I take it this took place on Route 30 between where 222 merges in and 283 splits off, where the cops are aways sitting? Real smooth.

 

 

FD has a more advanced suspension, but even that is ancient compared to the rx8's handling.

FC's have a really old suspension design, and FYI RE-A sucks! the super*now fc is the legend in japan, running 57 seconds at tsukuba on a hybrid turbo, and being driven to and from the track. Unlike the REA fc which gets trailored, has a huge t04r, and runs 59. fail.

At the end of the day, when it comes to fc vs fd vs rx8/fb its all about personal preference.
