rx7 vs trans am

just filled up at the gas station and was home...when a white TA pulled up next to me at the light. I wasnt going to play with the guy 'cause I just filled up...so I slowly take off from the light. He blips the throttle and takes off and lucky me I end up meeting him at the next light......this time we have two cars in front of us. Now I dont know if this is all just coinsidence....but as soon as we cross the rail road tracks both cars decide to turn out of the way...we r both in first gear....I look at him and I give him the go ahead to take off. He floors it and so do I....instantly I jump a half a car on him....second gear he jumps back about to my rear wheel....in third he started pulling up a little and then I started pulling on him again.....we started braking as soon as we hit 4th. Im thinking that he was stock with an exhaust(It did sound really good). He gave me the thumbs up at the end of the race and said that he thought my car was stock.....really cool guy though

if you let him hit it first then you jumped him, he must have started in second or something?
he has twice the torque and no turbo lag, anyway nice kill.
