trust me i'd love to drop a turbo into the car, but right now i dont have the funds to do it...im in college so that killed me a lot trying to pay for that...

im not bein a *****, my car is at the shop waiting to be painted...

i dont care if he beats me or i beat him, i'd just like it to be a close race... one mod i forgot to add the the rx7 was a stage 2 clutch (supposeably, previous owner said)

Clutch isnt going to make any difference on your FC but if all you wanted to know is if it would have been a close race then the answer is yes but i can deffinatly see him passing you up around 60ish or so.

full exhaust system (header,no cats) with a piggyback ecu would make a difference... but in your cars condition, he will most likely beat you...then again it is a honda xD...so you'll never know..if u lose fix it up some more then race him again and shut him up

the body of the car had quite a few dents in it, so i fixed em up to try n make the car look pretty good, now the motor is goin to get worked on....

i just bought some headers off a kid that sold his rx7 for $20, they look brand new, so now i got a guy who i've met on here thats goin to fab me up a exhaust n at the same time take out the cats...

i found an archieve on the 2nd gen thats says how to make a n/a beefy, im lookin into that to see what i can get out of it...

the race should be within the next month or so... as long as the weather stays nice. I'll be sure to update on the race n try to get it on video or something...

The easiest HP mod you can do on a 7 is take out the cats.

The GSR is 170hp that year so thats what you're up against. It runs mid to high 15s stock.

If you have a good muffler, MAYBE it won't be super loud. But with headers and no cats it is pretty loud.

Keeping a stock exhaust manifold and taking out the cats will give you more HP than having headers and keeping the stock cats.

you will win, my friends stock 97 4 door altima owned a 93 Integra with headers intake and exhaust and a lightweight fly wheel. My S4 na street port with intake and headers owned the altima so I'd say it will be close but you should win.

Comparing your streetported s4 to his non ported s4 is like comparing my Camaro with one with ported head's there is a pretty big difference there skippy.

And he compared a 93 regular trim Integra to a GSR on top of that.

I was getting ready to ask the same. what kinda teg did a stock altima beat? depending on the trim the teg will make more power and weigh less.

P.S. who cares about your streetported fc beating on na stock 150hp (at the crank) altima?? why would you tell anyone that?

This.

My FC had a 2.5" header, no cats, and dual HKS Hi-Power mufflers and was LOOOUUUUUDDDDD!!! It set off countless car alarms. At least it was a good loud, and not a ricey loud. And the fireballs were a plus too

it'll be to much effort to turbo a n/a. your better off swapping a turbo2 engine or acutally buying a turbo2 car
