As his car sits, it's BONE STOCK. Meaning it's putting down about 310ish-rwhp. The guy that wants to race him is putting down, according to his sig, 405rwhp, that's almost a 100HP difference!

The challange was Yellow R1's FD vs jic's LS1 FD, now if R1 wants to do anything to his car during that time period, he can go right on ahead. Hell, I've offered to step up if jic doesn't.

No. Yellow R1 wanted to show how quick his car was when he ran the C6 Z06. If he slapped on more mods that would defeat the premise of the argument.

It's obvious the 400 hp car will be faster than the 310 hp car. It's really a moot point as the race was between a C6 Z06 and yellow's car.

Then the only logical thing to do would be to run the same car (C6 Z06), not challanging someone over the internet who calls BS, right?

Yellow R1 should go on the Vette forums and try to get someone to run him in their stock C6 Z06 just for fun, that's what we do around here.

Doesn't matter who he is, what his car is, etc. as there will always be someone out there to doubt and call BS - can't satisfy them all and you can't try to convince them all, I own an LS1 FD, I should really know not trying to convince people.

But again, what would Yellow R1 running jic prove? jic hasn't even lined up to a C6 Z06 in his new set up to even know how he fairs up with one. My question was hypothetical, not in a "you must do this to prove him wrong!" type of attitude.

Clearly, the only thing to do would for him to run a stock C6 Z06 again and film it; hypothetically speaking, of course.

You'd have to race a C6 Z06 to prove your point, and this time VIDEO TAPE it.
Racing others doesn't mean anything, you can kill a LS1FD but it's still not a c6 z06

C6 Z06 isn't the fastest thing on the road but it does run 11.7 in the 1/4 and weights 3150lbs, with a 2-300 weight differential.

FD on a highway with the single turbo can pull on a c6 z06 but i doubt it can take it from a dig.

Hey Clown, I don't have to videotape ANYTHING to prove my CYM pulled a ZO6. Are you kidding me?! I've pulled 360 Modenas, Vipers, C5/C6 ZO6 Vettes, GT2s, etc. I could CARE LESS what you "think". Geezus, half you Clowns can't even cross multiply to arrive at power-to-weight ratios (HINT: My RX7 has a better ratio which "might" explain "why" its slightly quicker than a stock C6ZO6 per my original post). My FD is 2,650 lbs (that is a 500lbs differential).

I'm convinced this forum is populated with a majority of 20 something idiots that are often a 3rd or 4th FD owner (which is why I spend so little of my free time here). You have your car stats wrong, you have the math skills of a monkey, and you actually think I'm going to run out & videotape some C6Z06 kill I had with one of my cars to a bunch of internet strangers to try & "prove" some ad-hoc hwy pull I had with a Vette guy. Comical, absolutely COMICAL. GET A LIFE.

guys dont argue with these kids. i was one of the biggest "arguers" on this forum. i gave up. u simply cant get thru to them. what makes it worse is that everyone is a kid now. so guess what....u get attacked by a bunch of ******* idiots that dont know **** about anything yet think they know everything. u know the typical adolecent syndrome.

As stated, you can catch up and pull later at higher rpms but rotaries lack torque, you'd have to get the rpms up before reaching 500hp, don't tell me it'll make that at 2k rpm.

I just said that you should video tape it for you to get credibility from these guys, If you didn't care, why are you still posting?

This is the same concept as a cop catching a crook, the witnesses can make anything up, but if they have a video, that's enough evidence to put him behind bars, why don't you do the same and shut me up?

Wow, lot of "my nuts are bigger than yours" talk goin' on in here. I think the race between the CYM and JIC was stated for more of a, "I'll rape you so badly that there won't be any doubt" rather than a comparison between JIC's car and a Z06. But either way, I think everyone needs to bring it down a notch, since this is all pretty pointless in the first place.
