Wink FD vs XJR

I was dropping off the mail today after work, when I see this nice looking Jaguar come up behind me .......... fast. It worked out that he stayed behing me while I was 1st in line to turn left onto a 2 lane road. I waited for traffic to clear a bit, although this was going to be a short race anyway. I made my turn, and moved over to the right lane. He nailed it at about 20 mph, just before I did. He got a little more momentum than I did off the start, but I was able to keep him from passing me. I was barely pulling on him when I had to shut down at about 75 mph. There was too much traffic to try again, and I was really curious about this fast Jag. I followed him, and stopped to talk for a few minutes. He said that it was a bone stock 99 supercharged XJR. He popped the hood, and showed me the engine. Nice guy. Fast car. I thought I would destroy him ...... not knowing what I was up against.

New props to Jaguar from me. A very impressive powerful car.

my best friend had one of those for a while, we used to **** on a lot of cars in that thing, and they never expected it... he had a somthing to up the boost and exhaust too.... i belive his was a 98? maybe a 99 i dont remember, the funniest was a brand new LS1 on the highway, we didnt pull him bad, but we were creeping on him, and the look on his face as we're creeping by him was priceless

I was quite surprised. But not surprised enough to lose the race

I would like to race him again, where there was more room. I'm curious how hard the XJR will pull at higher speeds.
