Just posting a little kill for you guys..

Was getting on 91 in CT... when a very loud newer model bronzeish color SS camaro gets on my *** and sticks to it... i wanted to shoot a 4ft fireball on his hood... anyways, he pulls up next to me doin about 40mph and chirps his tires and takes off, sounded like i was behind godzilla.. so i slowly catch up.. doin about 60 i get next to him and 3 honk it.. full boost hits i pull about a car on him, but i slow down because of a car in front of me.. so we proceed on 91 hes doing about 90, so i pull up next to him again.. this time he just revs and takes off so i go WOT also.. he automatically puts 3/4 of a car on me, i hit 5500 rpms full boost and start walking, i shut down at 165 about 2 cars on him... by the way stock turbos, stock engine, all bolt ons, perfect tune

Nah, once youre putting down 350rwhp or over, 150+mph comes rather quick! if you got open road...

Off topic, I do know that there is some poor soul here in MD with a single turbo FD right now on LS1GTO that got owned. GTO had long tube headers and cats removed. It had to be the driver was clueless on how to race. GTO guys over their respect the 7 though. I'm not taking sides, if anything I am partial to the RX7 side, my GTO is just a nice DD.

i belive it, 360rwhp in 2700lbs car is damn fast................

 

I've owned an F-body (firebird) and I have no trouble believing a 3600+ lb car got beat by an RX-7 with all the bolt ons.

I have owned two z 28s and a 98 c5 mn6.I almost bought a 2000ss before i bought my last fd.A good running bolt on fd will beat a stock or lightly modded SS from a roll NO PROBLEM! i have walked one with my last fd with just a intake,downpipe and cb.60 to 120 roll by at least 2 cars.

btw I've beaten an SS and WS6 (mods: aftermarket pipes and intake only) with all the bolt ons on my FD and Pettit ECU....wouldn't say I "walked" but definitely pulled on them

 

power fc.. 850 primary.. 1600 secondary

 

i would hang with SSs in my fc with stock turbo and full intake and exhaust running 11lbs.

 

You would think that someone that owned a 7 would no the truth. I'm not quite sure why that story would be considered BS. I believe

If you're using your GTO as a comparison I'm sorry but that's a PIG with a LS1. Bad comparison.
