Supras are a whole different ballgame. Stock turbos stop being efficient at 18psi. But some guys run 20psi on the stock turbos they just wear out alot quicker. I honestly have never heard of anyone blowing their motor with the stock twins I don't even know if it's possible. The turbos would **** way before the motor would. There are a few guys over on supraforums putting down close to 500rwhp on the stock twins with nitrous. My clutch has been in the car for a while plus it's a oem they just really aren't made to handle 400rwhp+. T78 came in yesterday though so ***** about to get real quick.
Drop that 2JZ power knowledge on these fools. lol

Well I believe if you are getting the jspec the rx-7 is faster stock. I think the rx-7's have 300flywheel stock while the supras have 280hp. They have smaller cams, injectors and different ecu then the usdm supras that have 320hp stock. If you are going to start modding like crazy though go with the supra.
