Hey! What you talking about SRT4s for? I happen to have one!!!
Actually, it's a Caliber... bone stock. I've been into the FWD Dodges since they came out. I also have a 1983 Shelby Charger that I bought new. I just got that going after a resto-mod a couple years ago.
Seriously though... I stopped going to the SRT forums because I couldn't stand the company. I have the cars because they're fun to drive, and economical, not because they're supercars.
The FC in my garage is my FIRST experience with an RX7, and so far it is fun. I can't wait to start tearing into her and getting her revived and back on the street!!!
Have fun over there (SRT forums)... Just remember when you get the upper hand, you'll be considered a "troll" and probably banned...

I in no way shape or form like FWD... and will troll and call you a *** at every chance I get if you own a FWD. BUT... engine wise Srt-4s were very solidly built.

750+ hp on stock block and transmission? Yeah that is kinda cool. I mean Mopar Stage 3 with toys will run you around 4 grand and will put in mid to low 12 second quarter mile... reliably.
However my buddies 04 Mustang GT would out handle my other buddies 04 SRT-4 on the touge.. NO JOKE. (Mustang had larger and better tires though). So just imagine what that FD would do to that SRT-4 if they were on a track with turns.

I offered to race people on the FL SRT site, can't get anyone to run yet. I am nearly stock, I did get this response.
Yeah, sequential, it is pretty much stock except intake and exhaust.

I have owned an FD/S14/EVO IX and now sadly drive an SRT-4 due to practical reasons (wife) and each car has their merits, though FD was my fav. Sadly I do have to agree that srt community has a high douche population, however you don't have to look hard to find very cool owners on the forums either. The car is actually not bad, putting down around 240 whp stock, solid engine, decent hardware (bad tranny though) it's a fun ride when you need 4 doors.
Anyways, yeah that guy is a douche, I will keep a lookout for any future shennanigans by this guy on the srt forums.

I remember when they first came out. We were all caravaning down to a autocross meet about 80 miles away from NM to TX and this one kid had just bought his SRT-4 and thought he could pull on my TII with a 60-1. I shut him down very quickly.
Another time outside ATL, I ran over to a buddies house in my FD with the RX-6 turbo kit in it. We went out to a mostly empty road to do a couple pulls against his 3000 GT and his wife's automacitc Supra. We were tearing it up on this road when two kids in a SRT-4 (caps on backwards and all) decided to line up with us. We looked over, shruged, and launched. When we got to the turn around point and pulled up next to each other to discuss the pull, the two kids in a SRT-4 did a U turn to save face.

Man, that guy is an idiot!! Seriously upped the numbers on your car to make his look faster is just pathetic!!
However, I do think that the stock SRT4's are okay. I have a friend who is getting one (we are both in high school), and he wants to get it to start getting into modding and learning more about cars. He has a lot of respect for other kinds of cars, and admits that others are faster, but he likes it, as do I. I think that the same can be said for anyone, we all like most cars on the road, we just hate people who disrespect others with the way they act.

this is my FB
and this was my neon, great cars i miss it sometimes.
my point? i currently own 4 cars, 3 imports 1 domestic, have owned many different cars. Is not the cars, is the drivers, do not diss a car because of a few douche bags, i have met some DBs that drive rx-7s and still love them...

thanks brother the neon was super fast and a blast to drive my only complaint is their turning ratios, my wifes f-150 pulls a U turn better than my old neon lol, I love cars.
