Originally I was runing the stock catback and the car was pretty quiet even with the straight midpipe (non resonated). Anyway I had just intalled the magnaflow exhaust and coupled with the MP my **** was LOUD! My GF told that she could hear me from a block away at cruise. The magnaflow exhaust gives a deep thoathy sound (not the lawn mower type) it just sounds like it has ballz, as you can feel the exhaust resonate in you chest if you are standing near it at idle.

The Kill:
It's 11:00 pm and I'm crusing home on the freeway at 60 MPH. At 60 MPH and in 5th the car is the quietest. I'm going 60 because the freeway drone drove me nutz. When I notice this SRT-4 pull up beside me and started pacing me. There were two guys in the car and I was by myself. They start doing that speed up wait for me to catch up game. Ok I got the hint, I LIKE TO PLAY . So I down shift to third and at that moment my **** came alive. The sound from that exhaust is like night and day between those two RPM differences, loud as **** man. I look over and that guy in the SRT-4 is just staring my way, he looked over to his passenger and said something, then he looks over to me, then back to him a couple of more times. Though I can't make out what they are saying I think I have pretty good idea that the conversation was something like "WTF!?" especially since my car looks stock exterior wise :evil:.

So he goes for it. Actually he cought me by surprise since he took FOREVER to gun it. Probably deciding whether to do it or not. He got one car lenght right off the bat. My non-seq turbos spooled and I cought right up to him and passed him with ease. I shut down at around 120 with I'd say no more than 4 cars lenghts ahead. I slowed down to 80 he cought up and waved. I waved back. Cool guys.

I only lasted a week with that new set up because off the loudness. Resonated MP was a must!

Once again I'm cruising home late Sunday night. The car is much quieter now AHHH . I take notice that this car is tail gating me at 80 mph. As I enter a 2 lane freeway to freeway overpass he is still on my *** but let's off bit because of the turn. *****... Once the turn is over he moves to the next lane, he guns it, passes me and then moves over to my lane. He stayed there for few seconds then speeds off. The annoying rice boy tactic to get your attention There is only one guy in the car. It's a first gen eclipse (turboed? not sure) it's lowered, has exhaust and has the gauges on the pillar.

Once he merged unto the other freeway he slowed back down. Fine dude you want to play. So I turned up the boost to 12 psi because he annoyed me, otherwise it would have been 10. I pull up next to him, down shift to 4th. I'm still going 80, and wait for him to hit it. He does... He never ever had even the slightest chance lol. As soon as hit it I pulled on him. He shut down at about when I got two cars ahead. Which was not very long at all. I slowed back down to see if he wanted some more and he didn't even acknowledge me. Ok whatever I guess he really did think he was gonna win or something...

Edit:
On another note: Last night my new RB dual tip exhaust came in. I'm gonna install it this Sat. I can't wait though my car is much quieter than what is was, the highway drone still drives me batty with the magnaflow.

 

last weekend i was driving home on 66 with a buddy of mine and some random srt4 dose the ricer flyby. I was in the middl lane him on the right. He speeds up cuts me off and then scince the car in front broke he swerved left without looking and allmost crashed into the guardrail. all this and i was doing the speed limit 55 in 5th. idiot. not to mention he probably had more stickers than smarts

Thanks guys yeah I know they are not all that exciting but I have actually been itching for an SRT-4 kill for a while.

Henessey yeah when people start driving like that, I just get away from them. That's why whenever there is traffic up ahead I lay off waay in advance.
