I was in city of industry...just passing by at night time..eclipse rolls up next to be belived to be 98 GS-T..clear corner lenz..lime colored..tinted with 18 inch those rims for mercedez benz[huge..shiny ones]i heard the blow off valve[as he down shift???!! wtf is this *** try to prove].. it was raining today so i peeled off slowly...i see the eclipse peeling off too..i belive rx-7 has slow 1st gear so i revved hard and punched it again raising it to 5rpm...as i push i see eclipse next to me and when it punched to second i see it about 1/2 car behind me..as i punch it all the way and kept on pushing it was exactly 1 car behind..i was looking through my huge back mirror..i hear eclipse changing gear blowing turbo speeding up..he comes 1/2 car closer and then keep falling 1 car behind.. we were going 75mph..after 4 blocks we stopped..arminian guy with bling bling rolls down my window and asked as he creeps slowly..

I'm gonna say you need just a little more mods to beat even a stock eclipse gst. The non-turbo rx-7s are dogs in stock or near stock form. I guess it is possible that the eclipse owner didn't know how to drive or wasn't trying.
