Dodge Ram SRT-10...well pleased with this one !!!!

Hi all.....

Had a play with one of these today, now over here in the uk you hardly see any so when i saw this one i just had to have a go....

Its the sheer size of the thing that got me !!! there HUGE !!!!!

Now you have to remember over here we have poxy little cars so when i had the chance to play with the world fastest production truck how could i say no...

Had a rolling start of approx 30mph with him in front...Both floored it he pulls slightly away as im off boost then bang wright up his **** then as i shift to forth i pull out to go past (no idea how fast we were goin) , red line in 4th comes and goes then at 140 i back off!!!!

Now i know this may not seem like a good kill to you lot over the pond but to me its the best so far !!!!!

gavin...

Hell, I'm in the Detroit area and I STILL hardly see any actual, legitimate SRT-10 Rams driving around.

Lots of wannabes though with their hood scoops and body kits (which I think come stock on some non-SRT Rams.) Makes it hard to tell sometimes.

Good kill!

Cool kill, there is actually like 3 SRT-10 Rams running around here in my area. They are nice and sound pretty mean. There was a guy with a yellow one running around with the ugly spoiler in the back. The guy probably been pulled over a few times by the police here. I use to see him all the time, he would be spinning tires everywhere he went and the cops here are notorious for pulling people over. Guess he had it coming...

got to drive one of these beast's at work they are pure power but they just cant keep the 22's from spinning uncontrolablely....you can get the scoop and bumper on the daytona version with a wing but its just got the hemi....not comparable to the viper v10 and drivetrain any day of the week

i took one of these bad boys out on a test drive. when i left the dealer i got on it a little bit in 1st(maybe 50-60% throttle) when i shifted to second i was kinda supprised as the back end stepped back inline, i didn't even notice but i had left the dealer sideways. i'll let ya'll use your imaginations but that set the tone for the rest of the test drive pretty well...

yeah i USED to work at dodge, only the regular cabs come in the 6 speed, the quads dont, but i heard from teh viper tech that they had to de-tune the 6 speed for some reason, but the quad accually has more hp, but yeah man those things are fast as ****, its fun leaving 2-12 inch wide rubber marks 200 feet down the road, it just sucks having the redline being at 6k

Good kill.
How far ahead were you before he gave up?

I sorta raced one about two years ago if I can remember correctly near Pasadena on the 210 from a roll. We were both trying to be the first one to get on the freeway from a rather long on ramp. I don't know if he kept trying, but I had him by a car length at the end. My car was running consistent 14.2's (1/4 mile) with the check engine light on. 13.9 at best w/ check engine light on.
