Unhappy Mopar troubles, and I am desperate

Please forgive this question being posted here but I am desperate. To cure my problem so far I have installed new plugs, distributor cap, rotor, and all filters. The spark plug wires ohm out OK.

I have a '97 318CID Dodge Ram 1500 2WD Auto pick-up. I purchased this truck new. At 60,000 miles a problem has developed. It will start OK and run well for about three minutes, then all hell breaks loose. It may run good for a period of time, but eventually it will start to miss REALLY BAD. I mean it will barely pull itself. I gave up Monday and took it to the Dodge dealer in Memphis. They told me I had "a rusty fuel rail" and "plugged injectors".Yeah, Right. The fuel rail is made out of plastic or nylon!!! They wanted $978.81 to fix the so called problem. I retrieved my truck without letting them try to repair it. Upon removing the fuel rail and injectors myself tonight no rust or dirt was found.

I should add that when the missing starts there is no odor of unburned fuel or black smoke that would indicate a too rich condition.

I have used an onboard hand held diagnostic computer (connected when this missing was happening going down the highway) to no avail. All parameters are within factory specs (MAP, TPS, O2, Ambient Pressure, Timing, Temps, Voltages, etc.) . I took a look inside the fuel tank to make sure there was no water in it. It was spotless. I measured the fuel pressure and it is 45 lbs, just like the factory spec. There is no fuel filter on the system. I removed the fuel rail/injectors and using a pressurized bottle of fuel connected to the fuel line I made each injector spray by applying 6 volts to it. They all sprayed a perfect pattern with no leaks.

The only trouble code the computer stores is "Multiple Misfires Detected". No ****!

Does anyone have any advice? Is there a web site for Chrylser/Dodge people like this one for rotorheads?

Thanks for the help.
