A buddy's b16 swapped ek (gutted mods unknown) vs my s4 na (act 4 puck clutch, heavy duty pressue plate... rb header and presilencer no cats)

I have no Idea how this worked out, he was walking me on the highway. My guess is he didn't hook up :P (excuse the language I was pumped)

For one that's not an EK, it's an EG. What B16 does it have in it? I have a hard time believing that a S4 N/A with slight mods absolutely stomped a gutted EG hatch with a B16. Does he know how to drive?

I agree on both previous post. Either he don't know how to drive or he got no b16 under that hood. You should of been killed even if it was stock and gutted.

hmm, didnt even look like the honda hit the gas. i have had a S4 N/A, and a B17 swapped EG hatch, and i can tell you from experience, my EG would have walked my N/A rx7...
stock B16 is 160hp at the crank, now add exhaust, header and intake, and put that into a 2000lb car or less depending on how gutted it is, and they are pretty quick. more than once i have seen a B16 hatch turn high 13s on slicks at the track all day long.
well i would like to see a rematch, and a shot of the under hood of the honda. from the looks of that race it had to be a D15b8 on its last dieing leg IMO.

hi guys, it's my b16a2, and yeah he rolled me because how2dig when wet out. you can see my front end wheel hopping haaard about 2 seconds off the line, it's when i elt off and regunned it. use standard physics to figure this one out. i even tried to let off in second and regaining traction and i punched it and still lost it again. I ran it against a red turbo'd cavalier and raped it, vids 2 ensue soon ( if friend ever lets me borrow his cam.)


it's a b16a2 swap. 30k motor and trans. it is gutted. it is sexy. but it's getting replaced by a d16 turbo.

I raced an accord I'm pretty sure it was, atleast it was a honda, I think I even herd vtec kick in, regardless it wasnt a serious race and I could care less, if my 7 is slower then a 89 civic (They take about 10sec 0-60, atleast I could WOT my friends and it would feel like 1/4th throttle) I just like to WOT at people and see what they'll do, man that new beetle was fun haha, a integra did pull on me but read the below it was the same due to the automatic, once he shifted to maybe 4th or 5th (going bout 90) the auto was in a decent gear, 5/6th were opened and I pulled past, I also got his attention by shifting into the lowest gear it'd let me and revving it over and over, he shifted and just took off

They had something either a turbo or nawz, I shifted the auto too quick as it wasnt even a "race" the auto tends to downshift and get loud and I herd their rice start cooking and thought I'd have fun, once I was at the power rpms I sped ahead but then either they had a turbo and it spooled up as they started to catch up (remember I wasnt pushing it that was at 4k rpm w/automatic) and i still kept going and they wernt catching up quickly enough to pass me, once they shifted i wouldnt of needed to and i had 5-8k rpm to still go which would of put me much farther.

idk I'm still confused what they were running after they shifted I herd a blow off like sound doesnt nos purging do that too?

I dont know tho they wanted to race still but i dont do street racing, op is a ****** and will probably die crashing into a innocent family trying to drive somewhere for a purpose instead of racing some honda *** in their s4 7.

btw I'm not saying that I pwnt the accord or whatever it was like mad, but every honda I've full throttled at they wernt that quick, but n/a rotaries are pinto slow too
