all that civic needs is an LSD trans and should fixs the spinning. I have an EG with an H22 and lsd trains and that thing gets in there man. check this 13b swap in an ek i found.

 

screw eg hatches, there like a dime a dozen car around here...buy one for saving gas not to try an go fast....everyone talkes like there the best honda chassis to put a b-series in because there light weight...the ef hatch weighs less and looks better in my opinion!!

Well that sucks. I have an 750 hp FD and a 500+ HP integra that has better gas miles and runs everytime and only has had one motor so dont knock the honda. I also have an NA NSX 380 HP so whats up. Many of cars have been bet by the integra too.

the 7 is getting repainted right now but i will put up a vid when its done one my thread. look man. Ive been tuning and setting up car for 12 years. If you put a lot of money in to a car anything can be fast. They got a geo metro to do over 200 mph only took 200 grand but they did it. The thing is i love my FD but i can still appreciate good hard work and a clean car. just my 2 cents

Haha, you couldn't be more wrong. I used to have a 97 Honda Prelude, and back then I didn't care how fast my car was (good thing too), I just liked the design of it. And it just kills me when people get economy cars and think they're fast. That doesn't just go for Hondas, that goes for any car that isn't meant to go fast. Sure, you can always dump enough money into them and make them fast, but why? I've never raced a Honda, I don't really street race anyway. I think I've raced 3 times total, and none of them were Hondas. I don't really get into drag racing much anyway.

And for my first comment, you can look at the first post and see that he is NOT the OP. And for him to get all pissed off and say it's his post when it clearly isn't...well I felt the need to correct him.

I have yet to run a fast honda! We have turboed b18 hatches here in my town along with h22's with nitrous but they fail to work on the street like my car does. Just the other night some guy wanted to race me for 100$ when i said sure someone told him i was on the bottle and he backed down!

With the suspension work i have done and sticky tires if i spray off the line i lift the front wheel's no honda has ever outluanched me! Though some have kept up at higher speeds!

 

Did you pull the front wheels when you ran the 13.660@102 ?

I run a fb with nasa road racing in the PTD class, it only makes 160 rwhp and regularly get blown away by some of the faster class hondas on track at the same time. Have you ever seen a honda challenge race? H1 cars ******* fly! the fwd was for sure going to lose in the wet from a dig, thats like me challenging a vette to a drag race, it was stacked against him

 

i had an fb the one you see in my profile pic with a n/a 13b with s/d 48 dellotos, alluminum flywheel, short shifter, headers, rb exhaust with straight twin pipe, no interior and kumho semi slicks and i raced a ek with a b18 and we ran from a dig and i was by him the whole time the only time i pull infront a lil is during shifts but other than that it was a fun race...

i raced a 98 mustang gt from a roll and i pulled on him on second gear till my fuel pump went out lol...

ran 12.9 at the track with a 150 shot and slicks...not bad
