I really don't know too much about S4s but I was pretty surprised I beat him like I did.

We were already moving at about 30 and by the time we were at 100 I was about 4 cars ahead of him.

I think if it were from a roll it would have been a lot closer or I would have just completely lost. Although I have got some pretty solid launches out of rx7s.

The Audi guy seemed pretty surprised, I turned off to try to give him another shot but he just gave me a headlight flash and went on his way.

My car is an 86 with an s4 turbo drivetrain swap. 720 secondaries rtek 1.7 fmic

about 8 lbs of boost. walbro 255 and a few other minor things.

I keep a digital camera in my 88 TII so unfortunately I didn't have it in the 86.

I can't find the article right now, but it's about how racing on the street doesn't prove anything based on taking to identical cars with identical drivers and calculating the difference in car lengths based on someone leaving .1 second later than the other from 0-100 or whatever. <-- Something to keep in mind. also you have an "86 fc turbo swap" in the title but now you have a 86 with only the turbo drivetrain? Wow you are a confusing little man or woman(maybe confused about that too who knows).

Reading back I'm guessing that there is a "Audi S4" and you weren't talking about the series 4 rx7?

I was referring to Audi S4 not series 4 fc3s when I said I know nothing about them.

"newer or new S4" in the title told me he was talking about an Audi. I think it would be pretty difficult to find a "newer or new" FC.

ok, so I was just confused... and now that I read my post, it came across kinda mean too.... :-\ I didn't mean for it to come out that way, I was confused and tried making it funny not make fun of it. But alas welcome to text based communication... (notice at the end of my post I seemed to get it but I had "worked so hard" making the post in the first place I had to post it... lol)

 

wow, was the s4 automatic, they do come with a 4.2 v8, not to mention awd
