well we did it. it really wast the cleanest of runs but merging on to the hwy today we both nailed it at about 35mph in second gear. he started right in back of me right on my bumber. in 2nd gear i pulled alittle widening the gap by about a car. while in 3rd the distance remained with me in front by a car. while in 4th he slowly started to catch me. i shut down at about 145mph with him back on my bumber. so it seemed in 4th his car was catching me. it seemed to get quicker after we passed about 115mph. he said he didint spray on me but i of course have my doubts. i do know that if he sprayed from beginning he would murder me badly but it just seemed to me that once we passed 115mph his car got alittle quicker.
all in all i was pretty happy given he thought he could kill me yet from 35-145 he couldnt pass me. that is amble time in my mind. it was friggen hot and humuid with temps well into the 90s. my car was only making 14psi for some reason. i assume it was the heat??? i am gonna get him to line up side by side once it gets alittle cooler and up the boost to 16psi and smoke his **** right. i will link him to this thread to get his blood boiling a bit. perhaps he could share his side of the story.
for those that dont remeber my mods are all the boltons at for this run 14psi. he has z06 with varaam intake, kooks header, x pipe, and borla stingers. he also has some thottle body mod he says.

LS1's pull slightly harder from 120 and on.

Z06 has good aero above 115mph.... and their 4th gear is pretty strong pulling too with that rear end gear. good geared car overall. but could use more rear gear.
good race man. i'm sure he didnt spray you, cuz you'd see his tailights for sure. even if you were on 16psi. unless he's only on a 50 shot or smaller then he wont go as fast. but 100 or more, he's out and moving past you hard.

Can't go 11s with a 118 trap?
I ran two different zo6 vettes at the track and beat them both pretty easily. I was making around 340 RWH then. I think you will beat him every time you run unless he sprays.

well we did it again. just now. this time we did it right and lined up side by side. we started in 2nd around 40mph. i might have got a small half car jump on him. but by the time we shutdown at around 145mph i had 2-3 cars on him. he says it was more like 1 1/2 cars. but never the less from 40 to 145mph the FD won! the weather was much cooler tonight at around 65 degrees. man the turbos just love this cool weather, the turbos spooled instantly and i was out once the second turbo kicked in. i am pretty happy i thought he would edge me out by a car.
his mods 03 z06 intake, headers, xpipe,. borla stingers, and some throttle body mod.
my mods are full boltons at 14psi.
i dont care what anyone says the little stock twins rock in sequential mode when u have the car tunned right, they just spool instantly then when second turbo comes online u pull just about anything.
so far thats 03 cobra, 03 z06, regular vette all down to the 7!
his mods 03 z06 intake, headers, xpipe,. borla stingers, and some throttle body mod.

I love sequential turbos! It's encouraging to hear about your kills with full bolt ons at 14psi, because I've got full bolt ons, upgraded sequential twins and I'm shooting for 15psi! Awesome kill, that Z06 should be like a 120mph car, and you killed it!
