Anyone run against one of these?
I had one come up behind me last night and blow past. I got back up on him because he clearly wanted to go. Had one pull from like 60-110 where I pulled him but it surprised me enough to look the car up. Not sure if it was a 2023 or sickly boosted one, but it looked new. Got a thumbs up as I backed off coming into traffic and he raced past like a lunatic doing those speeds in a 45 zone. I was surprised.
It may have been bad modified but it was fast. Never had a 4 banger hang even close till this one.

If it weren’t for cost I’d love to have one, sold my Gen8 Civic Si NA to the dealership in May and they had one on the floor
here’s a modded Type R pulling over 700 whp converted to a Garrett G30-770 turbo setup on E85.
the factory turbo Type R is no slouch, but it likely had some mods.

I have one in my neighborhood but he has had it at least 2 years and I do not know him. He was out today washing one of his cars as I drove past, so I stopped briefly to say hey and asked what he had. He said 350 to the wheels with minor mods. I told him I was surprised by one of them and he was all smiles. Lol
live and learn. I just switched to smaller tires and see a noticeable difference in 3rd and 4th speed. Next set will be close to my old set but r comp like I have now. 3 and 4 used to be MY gears having beat every street bike I met. Even barely nudging a 1400 hyabusa till I hit 5th and he was gone.
those cars are no joke……he’ll I might consider a Honda in the future even though I am a Nissan guy.

I think it, or the Acura Integra type S (currently own a '06 RSX-S sold elsewhere as the Integra type R, K20 Z1 engine) will be my next car, looking next year when car prices may come back to reality. Though this car will just lose the premium.
