FB II

started off i was with my friends and we were leaving the mall. another guy i know who works at a store in there was leaving as well, he saw me and yelled. he came over in his civic hatch w/ a 5th gen zc swap and was talking to me. i wanted to run him cause i had a feeling i could take it. it was still kinda early (around 8'ish) and i wanted to wait but he was like, lets just go on 485 (our main highway thru the city) and do this. i was like ok, but felt iffy still cause i knew there would be a good bit of cars. but i was stupid in the thought of wanting to own his ***. so we go out and get to the on ramp. i was in the lead and i was cruising the long onramp at about 50mph. i notice theres a decent bit of traffic but when we get on the high way there was a nice gap. so we get out and he comes up next to me. i drop it in to third and i notice we're doing a little under 50 and i was about ready and i look up and over my shoulder and there is an 18 wheeler who's trailer is sideways sliding at us. i junked it down to 2nd and took the **** off. i cut off my friend in the civic off and he was gettin on it. we took off and hit about 100mph or so and kinda backed off. looked back and he had striaghtened out and noone was hit. my friends in two other cars that were following caught up and were freaked out of course. i noticed the truck guy was coming after us. so we took off down an exit and went thru a **** load of back roads. stopped and talked about the stupidity of the situation, but also how that trucker was doing atleast 100mph or more (speed limit is 65). when we first got on that highway there was soooooo much room behind us and in a split second that rig was there! i'm mad at myself by far and this it will never happen again. thought i would tell this to you guys and let you know that one....my rex is pretty quick; two...... never underestimate how fast someone is going on the highway. thx,

I don't know if he could be doing 100 mph hauling a trailer, unless it was half empty like many are these days; those things are pretty quick without a load though.

yea, my heart was racing and my body was shaking like crazy. no matter what his speed though, he didnt brake until too late. i guess he figured we would just move for him, cause he came up on the right where the onramp lane was ending therefore forcing him to slam his brakes and his trailer come around. insane. i whooped up on that hatch though! HAHAHAHHA
