my friend (ace xbox) and i were on LS1 tech and this guy posts a thread in the kills section, that if anyone wants to take him on with a very cocky attitude; everyone who steps up is from like, minnesota, FL, etc. so since we are about 45 minutes away from the guy, we talk to a guy we know simply because he was now calling out all the chevy guys and blah blah, name calling, etc.

he had a "it's not fast, it's just a mustang" type of attitude. so my friend and i talk to this guy we know with a 68 Camaro (very nice, by the way) and tried to set up a run. sure enough, he agreed and the guy in the 5.0 agreed as well.

so, we decided on a date, my friend (ace xbox) planned the whole thing - kind of a sketchy night, due to a lot of people coming out; it was set for kind of private runs.

very good run. they were going to go again, but then my friends lightning ran, blew the engine and leaked fluids all over the road. then some smart person there decided to yell, "cops!!" so everyone left.

none the less, good runs.

The camera was a little annoying. Editing quality was good. Race was well planned. Those cars were very evenly matched, it looked like it camaro was maybe 1/4-1/2 second quicker than the stang, which could easily be driver.

Props to you, Rasta. Your vids always seem to have good editing and nice cars, maybe I should move to Salinas...I tried to get into the local scene and it was like..2 Musatng V6's, an AE86 that was rusted through and through, a prelude and a couple or stock acords and neons with vyanals up the side a stock Probe SE(that's the slow model)..oh and a Jeep pickup truck. I took my saturn and I was like dude, even my saturn is too good for these guys. It's a 94 SC2 I'd never take the FD there or any other car that I get.

 

Damn, the chevy got left on in a major way, but still passed the POS in a hurry. The ford guy is lucky the camaro was sleeping or it would've been a win by a few cars.

yup, the stang hit the NAWZ right out of the hole, then in the middle of the race again to try to pull, but nope!

We work with what we got. I might not have the best camera but you can clearly see who won the race (I was at the end). Pause it and you can see door handles and ****. I am gonna buy the night shot though.
