World Quickest 13b???!

QUICKEST 2 ROTOR 1/4 MILE WORLD RECORD?

Im confused.... some people say Abel Ibarra old RX7 currently holds the world record of 7.44..... others say "Rafaelito" from Puerto Rico with a 7.44....

I searched around and found "Rafaelito" record at 7.47 but yet some people say that he has a 7.44 et...... I also looked and found no record for Ibarra.

About a week ago, I was in Puerto Rico, attending the PanAmerican Nationals, and witness Eddie colon FD RX7 w a 13B from "Sporty Motorsports" do a 7.44 @ 178mph.

so...Who is the quickest now??? Anyone with current INFO?

To get right down technical, Abel is still the quicker in the old rx-7

7.442@176

7.446@178 (if i'm not mistaken)

So if nit-picking to the thousandths... Abel still has the record...

And stay tuned, because there's very good chance Demetrios will beat that e.t. with his back halfed 7 (not even a full tube car).

Slight correction....

7.443@176 (backed-up with a 7.50 on the next run)

7.446@178 (if i'm not mistaken) (not sure of back-up)

Well, last year the car went 8.40 @ 164mph weighing in at 2500lbs. This year the car has a different tranny, much lighter car, and making more power so we'll see.

Yea I know, but if you could have seen the car. Its been completely rebuilt top to bottom after the fire last season. It may not hit a 7.40 but it'll come damn close.
