QUICKEST 2 ROTOR 1/4 MILE WORLD RECORD?
Im confused.... some people say Abel Ibarra old RX7 currently holds the world record of 7.44..... others say "Rafaelito" from Puerto Rico with a 7.44.... I searched around and found "Rafaelito" record at 7.47 but yet some people say that he has a 7.44 et...... I also looked and found no record for Ibarra. About a week ago, I was in Puerto Rico, attending the PanAmerican Nationals, and witness Eddie colon FD RX7 w a 13B from "Sporty Motorsports" do a 7.44 @ 178mph. so...Who is the quickest now??? Anyone with current INFO? |

To get right down technical, Abel is still the quicker in the old rx-7
7.442@176 7.446@178 (if i'm not mistaken) So if nit-picking to the thousandths... Abel still has the record... -Bern http://rotarynews.com |
And stay tuned, because there's very good chance Demetrios will beat that e.t. with his back halfed 7 (not even a full tube car).
