S plan?

Anybody used the S-plan discount (for Mazda Motorsportsregistered racers) for a new Mazda?
I'm wonderingwhat the price for the RX-8 or the new 6 hatchback might be...

No, I just have the pricing, I'm not registered with Mazdacomp at the moment. (Whenever I finish my cars I will)

Besides, I'm waiting on a kouki RX-8 anyway.

You usta-could register with Mazdacomp before yoru car was done (so you can get parts to finish it!). Not sure if that's the case anymore but you outa check...

Yeah, I know, I don't need parts at the moment though. Plus there was a time restriction (a few months and then you have to post results) I don't want to rush myself.

Thanks though.

Just got this email today:

Subject: Racer discounts on new Mazda vehicles

This is just a quick note to let you know about one of your benefits as a Mazda racer. Many Mazda racers are already aware of the Mazda S-Plan, whereby you can get a pre-determined, no hassle, discounted price on the purchase of new Mazda vehicles.

You may not know that this can also be used IN ADDITION to any existing rebates or low interest incentives which are offered by Mazda.

Mazda just started a new incentive called the Choose & Cruise event, offering rebates and low interest on many models. Click on this link to see what is currently available. http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/disp...ter=offersMain

There are a few rules to our S-Plan program:

Racers must meet current MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development eligibility requirements and have current race results on file to be eligible for the S-Plan pricing on new vehicles. The Mazda S-Plan is available for any Mazda model, except for MAZDASPEED vehicles.

If you are interested in purchasing a new vehicle on the Mazda S-Plan, please call or e-mail us for a PIN Certificate. This certificate will show the Mazda dealer that you are eligible for the S-Plan, and they will show you the S-Plan price right on the factory invoice.

E-mail us with your team support number at comppart@mazdausa.com or call 800-435-2508.

Mazda dealers do not have to participate in the S-Plan program, though most will.

The vehicle does not have to be purchase for a race car. It can be purchased as a support vehicle, or an extra vehicle for your family.

yes, I picked up a Protege 5 last year using the S-Plan. Actually, it was a hook up for my dad. Not only did he get the S-Plan price(which is $1-200 under invoice), he got the Mazda Protege rebate, and the Mazda loyalty rebate(since we already owned a Mazda). All in all, we picked up the car over $4k under invoice. Not bad considering the difference between invoice and MSRP is less than $800 on that car.
