In chicagoland North Suburban Sports Car Club runs regular events at blackhawk farms, Road America, Grattan, GingerMan, and now at Joliet Country Club. The club does autocross, wheel to wheel, and vintage. The membership is $55 a year (which gets you a membership to Midwestern Council as well) and one day working an event. Great people, and their always willing to help when you're in need.

Rapid City, South Dakota- Black Hills Sports Car Club has autoX and there is a 1/8th drag strip in nearby Sturgis. Schedules can be found at www.rapidcityracing.com
In cleveland area you can check out www.autox.net. There is also NORa Racing, but I cannot remember the website at the moment. You can try to google it.

For those in the Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois area:
Probably one of the best autocrossing and wheel-to-wheel racing clubs on the planet is the Madison Sports Car Club based in Madison, WI. The autocross part of the clubs' website is here; http://www.madisonsportscarclub.com/autocross/ and the road racing part of the clubs' site is here; http://www.madisonsportscarclub.com/
Another fantastic club that hosts autocrosses, ice races, and open track days is the Fox Valley Sports Car Club based in the Appleton, WI. area. The site is here; http://www.fvscc.com/ A great club that's very friendly and laid-back.
Since 2000 I've been ice racing and rallycrossing with this club; http://www.w-a-g.org/ It's the Wisconsin Autosports Group and they put on great ice and rally events.
Hope this helps.
If you need anymore info, then don't hesitate to ask.
