Quick Tips for Track

I MAY be hitting Sebring on the 31st of July. Currently my car has an aftermarket radiator, and an oil cooler made for a v-8 (cheaper heard it works just as good). Im only planning to run 10psi. I know I have to upgrade pads and fluid for brakes. Check ALL suspenions (bushings, PPF, etc) and also I plan to install a digital temp gauge. Also I plan to change all fluids before (oil, differential, tranny etc) Anything else that I should check/ do before?

From reading about tracking FDs it sounds like cooling, cooling, and more cooling. Brakes, oil, and most important coolant/water. I've read about a lot of people going out, running 5 laps in 5-10 minutes and then having to sit for 30 minutes in staging areas until their car cools down.

Good luck and let us know how it went.

Well I got a radiator, and a nice probably 15 x 5 and 1 inch thick oil cooler (made for v-8s) any other suggesions? Maybe some ducting? I also got my downpipe wrapped.

Just drive the car, man. These things aren't THAT fragile. You've been spending too much time on this board....

torqe. check the torqe on all your important moving chasis peices. I race motocross all the time and its something i try to do always. having some suspention peice just fall off 15 feet in the air on a bike or at 120mph in a 7 is no fun
