Our Project Drift car
Announcing Project FD. The car was recently unveiled at the 2004 Los Angeles
Auto Salon. The project is being put together by Rotary Power. The driver is
being provided by Grip Video. The car has major sponsors such as Dunlop,
VeilSide, Deep Racing, and Battle Garage. The car is still in it's finishing
stages and will be ready to take on all major west coast drifting events
such as Formula D, Drift Showoff, and US Drift. The driver, Ross Petty is a
new comer to the US drift scene, but has been drifting for 7 years. Ross
learned drifting at the age of 16 in Okinawa Japan and had refined his
skills during Togue to impress the highly regarded Team Murder from Okinawa.
Ross is now the second member from Team Murder to be competing stateside,
the other being Team Rotora's Ernie Fixmer.
For recent footage of the driver, the video can be seen here:

dont worry, the wheels were loaners for IAS. We actually took 3rd place for Mazda Class, even though the motor is not in the car, nor are the seats even bolted down! We've got some black face deep dish wheels going on, as soon as they arrive from Japan.
