that search doesn't come up with any results. I did find the "forcefedracing" channel on youtube, but the newest video was uploaded a year ago.

They are new for this year so i can't say. mazda ran the same width in their 1991 imsa GTO rx7 so it should work.

I ran 13 inch rears with 12 inch fronts last year and i needed more rear grip so i hope this set up will improve lap times considerably. on youtube type: ccgp 2009 and you can see some in car footage.

the main problem with jerico is top gear , be it 4th or 5th , will always be one to one. so this limits your top speed unless you change the diff from track to track. with my tall tires i think its around 260 km/h. but it is bulletproof and good value for money. one day i will replace it with a hewland mve.

here are my ratios which work well. my rear tire is 27-28 inches tall, and i run a 3.9 and 4.1 rear end.

2.61
1.9
1.56
1.23
1.0

Hey Wouter. Those are quite the slicks on the back. Are they the Goodyear radials?
I always through you had the Jericho 5 speed.
Is moving the 20B back new for this year?
My dog Box T5 has a slight overdrive (.90) fifth gear and with the shorter tires and 4.10 gears I calc my top end at 165 mph.
Last year at the Indy I could hit 103 mph on the first half of the front straight and 128 mph on the second half.
I figure in Calgary at race city I might see in to the 145-150 mph range, which is still leaving a fair bit of room.

You coming to the Indy again this year?
I've got some theories on my issues out from last year and I've made some changes and planned some other to cure the problems. so I should be better able to run hard in GT2.

cheers,
-Trent

yes , radial goodyears. i plan to try the michelins as well, 370 rears, 330 fronts are the equal equivalent. I did the 20b swap in 07 and it was always set back. New for this year is the steering quickener( 1.9 turns with power) , the aluminum rad support, new ducts, new body in rear, new wheels and tires, rear brake ducts, more front camber with aluminum offset upper control arm bushings, new ic location, tranny cooler, reshaped rear wheel well to fit those tires, new breather for crankcase, and the splitter and diffuser .

As far as this years indy, my participation obviously depends on the hosting club. Based on last years exclusion i have a feeling they may not be members of the wouter b. fan club.

One car that will probably be there is my friend Jack from Vancouver. He has built a 93 rx7 chassis with a 7 litre ls7 motor, tremek, all carbon body, my rear fender flares, super gutted chassis, air jacks, , slicks 330, 280's, . 6 piston calipers, truly the best of a lot of equipment. A very professional build and a fast driver. He won the vancouver invitational years ago.

Got any pics and/or details on how you mounted the quickener?

Also, which bushings did you use on the upper control arms?

I think the organizers were put on the spot by the Indy guys and had to make a call. They got a lot of heat over the oil the NSX put down in the practice and the Indy fellows were riding them hard. I heard them talking about it and they sounded like they were members of your fan club. I think you should come out. Send in your application at the least and see what happens.

the steering quickener is a coleman unit, 1.5 to 1, and i cut out the length of it from the steering column in the car. i attached it with some coleman steering couplers and had it set up true and welded at a machine shop.

for the bushings i had the jimlab ones and had a machine shop make a set out of aluminum but with the centre hole set inwards. Then we pinned it so it wouldn't rotate, and added grease nipples.

I have only had oil blowing out of the breather when we went to tracks with a lot of right hand turns as the oil would shift to the left of the engine. And thats with a dry sump! i ran some 1/2 inch aluminum tube from the turbo oil return at the rear of the motor as a 2 nd breather. when its time to open the engine i will drill a hole and add a breather out of the front cover as well.
