Endurance Driver Wanted!

Hahn MotorSports is currently looking for a qualified and funded driver to join our endurance team for the 2004 season. We are last years ITA class winners at the 12 Hours of Summit and the IT7 class winners at the 10 Hours of Gingerman in our well prepared Mazda RX7. This year we will be running the 12 Hours of Summit, 12 Hours of Nelson and the 13 Hours at VIR. If you would like to be a part of one or all of these events, please send a resume to redline@insight.rr.com for consideration.

It can range from $1300 per event to $1700 per event. Sort of depends on the combination of events and what the driver wants in terms of car liability.

i didnt get your email for some reason, try russ@speedjunkie.net

either way thats not a bad price for an enduro. we were trying to put something together for the 12 hours at homestead in a spec miata and it came up to about the same amount per person.

if i come into some money i would like to do summit, but its so hard to save when you keep blowing apex seals...

what's the payoff? is there any money payoff involved? well besides the bragging rights after winning, and the thrill of victory...

Payoff You most likely will not see purses in SCCA Club racing. Your payoff comes from surviving 12+ hours of racing and well yes the "bragging rights after winning, and the thrill of victory..." For some of us it is also the challenge of preparing the car and organizing a team and see it all come together. Also getting to spend 2+ hours non stop in a race car instead of 35 minutes at a time is also very cool.

Speeds16 - I'm qualified, and highly interested. I'm currently seeking funding, however. If I receive it, then I'll send you my resume. What kind of deadline am I looking at?

Hahn MotorSports has selected and confirmed a driver for the 12 Hours of Nelson. All the seats in the primary car for the Nelson event are now Full . We may elect to run a second car for the Nelson event depending on interest.

Seats are still currently open for Summit and VIR.

Hahn MotorSports has selected and confirmed drivers for all of the events. We would like to welcome Chris Kellett and Steve Carroll to our driver lineup. Chris will assist in the driving duties at the Kumho 12 Hours at the Point and the Kumho Charge of the Headlight Brigade. Steve will pilot for the team in the 12 Hours at the Ledges. They will be joined by last year’s drivers: Brian Roesser, E.B. Lunken and Roland Hahn.

We are honored by the many talented drivers that submitted resumes and hope that in the future you will again consider driving for our team. We regret that we could only offer a few seats for so many qualified requests.

We invite all of you to stop by our paddock at any of these events to meet the new team members and to take a closer look at the 2004 version of the Hahn MotorSports ITA Mazda RX7.
