Boost controller
I have a 20B rx8 and will like to know if any of you guys have had good experience with the new Greddy E boost controller, or you have any other preference. right now i'm at 10 pounds and have had it at 18 but it has higher peaks ( wich makes the car a little crazy in the street) becouse I have a manual boost controller. So I'm just searching for a GOOD electronic one thats precise and will help me with those peaks.

Ebc
I have the Greddy E boost. It is a bit confusing to start but works well once you figure it out. What ECU are you running? Keep in mind that electronic boost controllers can do some great stuff like make your wastegate stay shut and make boost come on stronger and more consistant than a MBC. We set mine up on the Dyno it is pretty linear at 14psi from 3k to 8k. We actually farted around with the EBC longer than it took to tune the car! But we accomplished what I wanted and all I have to do now is push the button for high and low settings and we're set. But the bad part is a change in controllers can translate into a new tune for the new boost map you will have. If you don't tune for this change you can have a lean spot in the tune. This said as long as you set up your new EBC on a dyno or with at least a wide band and make the enrichments you'll need you'll like what they can do. I know how expensive a 13b is to rebuild and 20b is double that. better safe than sorry

I'm running the GReddy e-01 boost controller on a full non-sequential street ported motor
and its a great boost controller, I went from a HKS EVC boost controller that worked ok on the car when it was still sequential but still had boost issues,
which was not necessarily the boost controller's fault
The GReddy E-01 once programed correctly works fantastic and has tons of great features and its holding boost at 12 PSI with no spiking on my car. Thats not to say the other boost controllers on the market aren't as good. The Blitz, Apexi and HKS units are quality pieces also, but you were asking about the GReddy E-01.
