As for the cryo treatments, they don't work for power levels over 600rwhp. You'll still crack the main shaft.
Ari uses a stock tranny. He usually carry at least 2-3 trannies with him in an event. He told me a few weeks ago that he tears the tranny apart and replaces the input/output shaft and any necessary components in every 3 races.

on a related note.. new england dragway (epping nh) is hapving a nopi event for the first time this year, anybody know who if anyone is comming up? i need an excuse to not work the event and get to actualy watch one..

If you talk to Ari, he'll tell you he used to run a total G-force tranny, but when Nopi came around they made him switch back to the stock mazda trannny.

sence when do congitingency programs (yeah i probably didnt spell that right) require you to use the product. iirc, they only want there stickers shown on both sides of there car, and proof of compitition

I'm not sure how fast he went on the stock transmission but I was there when he had his first run in the 9's. 9.55
He had all kinds of stickers on his car for products that he didn't use. He used to have a Crower cams sticker on it as they paid continency. He got away with it. This was around 2000-2001 or so.
