Possible Fraud? RZ Seats

I noticed a pair of RZ seats on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180379343808), I it the seller up to let him know I'd step in if the buyer backed out...

turns, Ethan of NY/NJ, out he was eager to sell me the seats (all conversation was via eBay). within 12hrs of me messaging him, he gave me a paypal email address (turbocivac@aol.com). I decided to do a little digging on Google and found that guy has a few email addresses / monikers.

Normally I'd just pay the asking price and go on with life, however, the created date on his profiles (yahoo) are all within this last week and the recent email address was created 07/13/09(ek24691@yahoo.com). Sounds a bit funny to me.

Anyhow, I hope I'm jumping the gun but I'm also asking for anyone who might know this guy and could vouch for him at the same time.
I hope I'm wrong but this is what I dug up before spending $1700 on the seats (a little too good of price).

Here is a link to the photos he sent me. Just in case he's legit or these are belonging to someone else.

I asked to pick them up locally he dodged the question and did tell me it was "okay" to pay for the seats already.
I'm going to consider this one as fraud - I've got a PM or two from other members saying they've had bad transactions with this guy.

Sent him a link to this thread thinking he'll defend his name.

First, I don’t give out my address to people on ebay or on any forums anymore. i have had parts stolen from me b/c of this. That is why I choose not to give an accurate location and before you say you were located was outside ny,nj so was the address of the persons who stole the items. Second I cleared everything up with the member seven, he got his full refund. it was not that I was scamming him it was a problem with the shipping. i was in contact with him the whole time. I have done a number of smooth transactions on this site. The price I gave you for the seats was the price the auction ended at. You knew the auction ending price why would I tell you a different price. if i told you something higher you would say the auction only ended at this price why are you charging me more. you can think what you want. there’s no real way of proving it to you. its kind of like a no win situation. Thanks for the head up though

you are afraid to say in which state the item is in because it will get stolen? I assume you have no idea how big states are....

They can find out using a search if they know your state. That’s all the info i gave the other person and they seamed to do it.

There was no original deal, you never told me that you were going to do that or even had that planned. You make it sound like we had this all worked out.

Baltar, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. Sure, I'm going to come and steal your seats......

I plan on never doing business with you given your blatant lieing and failure to disclose even the most basic of information.

Also, you have at least one thread open by a buyer unsatisfied with a transaction with you:

https://www.rx7club.com/bad-fugly-members-185/problems-baltar-849307/

and another that took a month to get resolved:

https://www.rx7club.com/bad-fugly-members-185/bad-experience-baltar-845528/

Then in this thread, you again won't disclose your location:

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-rx-7-1993-2002-parts-99/f-s-v-mount-rear-diffuser-hood-black-interior-r1-suspention-ect-828579/page3/

We're not asking for your street address, your social security number, or the combination to the lock on your gym locker.

You've had issues with buyers on this site, so you start selling on ebay.

As a classifieds moderator, I am keeping a very close eye on you.

The attached photo shows otherwise. You made the offer, I accepted.

anyhow..
I've learned a thing or two, I'm moving on. Good luck with your seats.

Well being that I am in charge of the classifieds and seller issues I am hereby suspending your selling privileges as of this post Baltar.

You need to resolve the hood issue and then it will be decided whether or not your privileges will be reinstated.

That means no "Selling" at all and that includes trying to contact members via pm to sell them. If you do this (yes we will know) you will be automatically banned from this site.

FYI: The only reason that someone would not indicate the State in which they live is because they have a "Checkered" past.

Also please change the location listed in your profile to reflect the State in which you live in!

I'm not running from it but what is there to resolve. He did not purchase the seats from me. I wasn't trying to scam him. I stated my side. Sevens payment for the hood was refunded last week
