Beware of Baltar, his name is Ethan Koenig I sent him money for a seibon CF ks hood 5-18-09, I still have not recieved it. I understand if a guy cant get something like this out right away, but the thing is he told me he was going to ship three different times. Well he told me that it shipped thursday wich was 6-4-09 and they told him that it would take 3-5 days and they did not give him a tracking #?. Still no hood today as I called them and nothing there for me. This transaction was fishy from the begining. The paypal reciept had a tracking # on it that had an adress to texas I live in Utah!. I asked him about this he told me that it was a mistake. He has at least been communicating with me a little, not the easiest to get ahold of but he has been returning my pms every once in a while. He just tells me what I want to hear. Well I filed a claim with paypal but they wont review until the package gets here because there is a tracking # attached to it. But here is the kicker, after researching the tracking number a little, I found that it is not a tracking # at all, it is a confirmation that a phone call was made to them in reguards to a package, and they are waiting for the arrival of the package as well

I am soooo sick of this **** my house was robbed a week ago and I have had it. He lives in NY NY/ bay area. I had an investigator look into it so I have more info but I am hoping that someone on here knows him and can help me out. He owes me a hood or $498.00

Baltar apperently went to the shipping company wich is greyhound and the hood for some reason had not been shipped. He offered to try to get it shipped again or to refund my money at this time I requested a refund as I am tired of trying to get it shipped. Would have been a good deal for a CF hood, and I wished it would have gone differently. Hopefully he will refund money. I will update.

Greyhound is a bitch when it comes to shipping a fd hood. It is very hard for them to send it because of the length restrictions. Even if it is sent, sometimes they need to wait for a large enough bus to take it. I have had ethan buy something from me and havent had any issues. Working on a trade soon, so I hope this gets resolved.

 

Thanks, I hope this gets resolved too. He seems like a good enough guy, maybe I jumped the gun on this. But like I posted earlier, I was told the hood was going to be shipped a few diiferent times, after not recieving it, and everything else that was not makeing sense to me like the tracking number. I could not help but think I was not going to get the hood. When I sell something I do everything I can to assure the buyer that he/she will get their item. I will update them even if there has been no progress on shipping etc.. especially with large purchases. I dont feel like I had this curtousy. I always had to ask what was going on.

Anyway he is supposed to refund my money tomorrow. I guess we will see.

 

UPDATE:

I did communicate with baltar today, he has told me he is now working with paypal to refund money, and that it should only take three days. I will update in four days once again.

 

I was told that he was transferring money in to paypal so he could refund my money back to me. It has been five days now and still no refund. I have still been in contact with baltar via PM and he is still says he is having trouble with paypal. I will update as soon as I have any more info.

 

I had to ship a full manifold back exhaust through Greyhound and I've never had a more frustrating and difficult time shipping anything ever. I can attest to the what purerx7 is saying I came very close to giving up and refunding the buyer because it just was not worth the hassle. I stood there working with the greyhound shipping agent for something like 3 hours because the system runs off of win95 and never gets used.

 

Yikes. I hope things work out. I didnt know greyhound sucked so hard. Thats something I'll be avoiding in the future.

 

wow,thats surprising to me,ive used greyhound at least 6 times for oversized packages and had nothing but excellent results,must be some morons running the show up in your area,i believe the max.weight restriction is 100lbs. and the max lenghth is 72" i had two bumpers shipped to me in one freakin huge box that the guy didnt even bother trimming to size and they helped me load it onto my truck and disposed of the box for me,what ups and fedex charge is ridiculous on oversized packages so ill stick with greyhound on big stuff untill they let me down

 

they told me the max length is 52"?

 

Greyhound has sucked for me too! I only use it when members specifically request it and they understand that insurance, etc. isn't an option. I also don't like the "no tracking" policy.

 

I have been told that he is having some problems with paypal, because of this he would send me a refund through the mail with a money order. I replied to him by asking if he would let me know when he sends the money order so that I know when to expect it. No response yet, has been a couple days.

I got this from him 7-2-09. He is referring to my refund that has not come yet. I am getting very frustrated!
