anyone w a power fc and datalogit ought to check out this recent thread:

i have been using the Data Log Lab product for a couple of weeks and have around 15 dyno runs on it to date. i will be doing 4 more today. while i haven't yet been on an actual dyno to cross check it for accuracy it has been of great help so far as to tuning. since the product is just a downloadable software package and is inexpensive i highly recommend it to all.

you are correct... the program asks for vehicle weight (i have scales), gearing, tires, drag coefficient and frontal area. it adjusts for temp and humidity also. it will be interesting to compare v the dyno/ i am a week or two away but others who have already dynoed might find it interesting to compare. they have a free 30 day deal...
i have found it very helpful as i adjust timing advance, split and afrs, etc.

yesterday i compared two different heat ranges, types and brands of spark plugs. the result was one plug delivered 120 degrees less egt at the same spark and timing settings. i digitally monitor pre turbo ( in my case turbos.... 2 TO4s) both rotor egts and exhaust backpressure along with fuel pressure.
my motor makes less hp as it gets past 1775F. one of the plugs ran temps up to and past that area. the Power Graph showed 25 rwhp and 27 less ft lbs torque.
i also made back to back runs w and without airfilters. absolutely zero difference so my filters are large enough not to offer restriction.
you definitely can tune w this product.
