if the gauge is calibrated to read km/h it should work just fine since its a mechanical gauge .. my experience with the autometer speedometer gauges is that the read in mph..

Yes,you're right...it's in mph...so if i connect it what will be the result?
This cable is only for information at the commander or it does matter at the function of the ecu?

The FD has a VR sensor in the trans that sends its signal to the speedo in the cluster. The cluster then outputs a square wave signal that is sent to the ECU. The ECU itself does not produce a speedo signal and has no means to do so. You will need to source a sensor to generate the signal, most likely square wave, that your speedo wants to see. speedometersolutions.com has sensors that will bolt into your stock FB trans in place of the cable drive.

That's the power fc from ap enginneering....it has the adapter for the fc and this cable marked: "SPEEDOMETER OYT LINE FOR FD"...so i will buy a sensor, place it at the trans and send it to the speedo?and i will not connect anywhere this cable?
