Series 8 Engine Harness with 92-95 PFC

I've searched for hours for someone with my exact scenario with no luck, so I may as well try a post here.
I have a '92 JDM FD3S with a 92-95 PFC, and due to a blown coolant o-ring, I have purchased a '99 spec (series 8) engine & transmission with harness & ECU
The obvious problem with this is with the ECU & Body connectors... if I use the S8 ECU, the body connectors won't work, & vice versa.
So the conclusion I have come up with is, re-wire the ECU side of the S8 harness to my S6 plugs to work in conjunction with my S6 PFC.

S8 engine & harness > S6 yellow plugs > S6 PFC

Will this work or absolutely not?

Use the S6 engine harness, PFC and solenoid rack. Trying to cobble the S8 electronic parts into a S6 car is never a good idea.
